The Hinda and Arthur Marcus Institute for Aging Research is focused on building a pipeline of future researchers in the field of aging.
A variety of training opportunities are available for undergraduates, medical students, pre- and post-doctoral fellows, and others pursuing careers in geriatric clinical research. Trainees learn from and work alongside Harvard Medical School-appointed faculty who are experts in geriatrics, gerontology, epidemiology, biostatistics, and social and clinical research. You’ll learn about study design, seeking grant funding, writing grant proposals, and more.
At the Marcus Institute, you’ll have access to the resources you need to succeed: We’re one of the largest gerontological research facilities in the U.S. in a clinical setting, and an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. You’ll gain hands-on experience and work closely with faculty who are deeply committed to mentoring young researchers.
