Dr. Hsu’s career goal in research is to enhance wellness and brain health of older adults by research that will be hallmarked by its relevance to society, collaborative nature, and commitment to knowledge exchange. His research interests involve understanding the underlying neural basis of functional impairments and its relationship with cognitive function among aging clinical populations as well as CNS-related interventions to promote overall wellness and brain health in clinical populations. Specifically, he uses advanced neuroimaging techniques to examine neural signatures of impaired mobility and cognitive function among older adults.
